WHAT WE DO

We work with community partners to provide pro-social opportunities for our youth, and education to caregivers, school staff,  professionals and our youth.

What are pro-social opportunities? These are activities, after school clubs, etc,  provided to our youth to deter them from substance misuse. Some of these provided by our coalition and partners include....

  • Big Brothers, Big Sisters
  • Tri-District After Prom Party
  • National Night Out
  • South Bend High School's Drug Buster Squad
  • South Bend Talent Show
  • Teen Advocacy Coalition's Holiday Party
  • Tri-District Color Run
  • CADCA Mid-Year Forum
  • Prevention Summit
  • Spring Youth Forum
  • ...and so much more!

Prevention begins with education! We work with our partners to provide educational opportunities for caregivers, school staff, professionals and our youth. In fact, our youth make the best educators for their peers! Some of these opportunities include....

  • Children in Between
  • Vaping and E-Cigarette training to South Bend School District staff
  • Town Hall Events
  • Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) training to tri-district school staff
  • Project Northland Curriculum
  • The Incredible Years
  • Starts with One - Opioid Prevention Media Campaign
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Youth Mental Health First Aid
  • ...and so much more!

About our coalition meetings

Picture

Road 2 Resiliency meetings are anything but boring. We strive to make each meeting packed with decisions, updates, and discussion. Coalitions are owned by those who participate, and we're no different!

Resources and Action

Through our funding, South Bend has a full time Student Assistance Specialist through ESD 113. She is an amazing resource.

Making it Personal

We try to remain authentic to the voices we hear at our meetings, so that our actions reflect the needs of our community!

Engaging Community Partners

We are constantly looking to partner and collaborate with businesses and organizations around us.

It's All About You

We are involved with so many different programs thanks to our state funding. These include Class Action, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Guiding Good Choices, and so many more.

But in the end it comes back to what the group would like to accomplish. We believe that we can affect change and produce outcomes to be proud of.
